Using calender function with locale storage does not work

Hello everybody,

I try to store the result set of a query into the local storage. Running the query and doing so manually works flawlessly. Using a script and specify the desired date range manually also works fine. BUT whenever I use a built in calender function, the automation scripst starts and runs until is says “Start saving to Local Storage”. This state then stays forever…that is also the last line in the log file.

Please find below the two lines in question.

Does not work: AND V_PROBENINFOS.completed_on = calendar__gregorian__current_week__

Works: AND V_PROBENINFOS.completed_on BETWEEN to_date(‘2013-04-14 00:00:00’, ‘yyyy/mm/dd hh24:mi:ss’) AND to_date(‘2013-04-20 23:59:59’, ‘yyyy/mm/dd hh24:mi:ss’)

The same behavious in TDP 3.2 and in Beta 3.3 build 1327

Anyone any idea?
Thanks in advanve,
JochenR

Unfortunately, using calendar functions when exporting data in Automation to Local Storage or Toad Intelligence Central is not supported so far. I created CR108618 to add such possibility in the next release.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Igor.

Thank you for your quick answer and subitting a CR Igor. It’s good to hear that you are continiously improving your product.
