If you are saying that only the client that issued the drop command can see and commit the drop, that would not be consistent with how other database changes are handled. If that is not what you meant, could you please clarify your comments?

The object is under version control and exists in version control repository only.
When a object is dropped in a client, this object status show in the client is become deleted. And the change can be commit in perspective page. Object status show in other client will not change.
So to sync the object drops, find the droped object client an commit it. some times the client have to reopen the respected page to refresh status.
The other way is to drop it source control server.
