Why don't my stored procedure compile ?

#1

Most of the stored procedure I use have a similar structure.

Unfortunately I am unable to compile any of them using Toad.

These procedures compile OK when using isql, sqsh, RapidSql.

toad_001.sql (5.81 KB)

Try changing ‘@Origine’ to ‘@origine’ in the last block in the script and let me know if that helps.

Thanks.

That does the trick.

But all my servers are set up as follows

00:00000:00001:2010/12/02 08:03:37.06 server SQL Server’s default sort order is:
00:00000:00001:2010/12/02 08:03:37.06 server ‘nocase_iso_1’ (ID = 52)
00:00000:00001:2010/12/02 08:03:37.06 server on top of default character set:
00:00000:00001:2010/12/02 08:03:37.06 server ‘iso_1’ (ID = 1).

and aren’t therefore fussy about the case we use.

I have been able to reproduce this and believe it is an issue with the ADO.Net driver. Sybase technical support case 11647580 has been created for further investigation.

Thanks.

#5

Great I can compile my stored procedures now with the latest beta realease (1.0.0.368).

Glad to hear it, let me know if you have any other issues.

Thanks.
