Beta Released (12.10.0.15)

Beta Notes
Database Browser
Added a button on the Pluggable Database tab to create a TNSNames entry for the selected database.

Login WIndow
“Database” dropdown on login window now has a popup menu with these items:

Show TNSNames entry (displays info in a dialog)

Send TNSNames entry to Direct tab (sends host, port, service name to the direct tab so you can connect that way)

Schema Compare
New Option on “Object Type Specific Options” tab: “Sync with DBMS Redefinition”. Applies to column order differences. When checked, and column order differences are present between the source and target table, the target table will be rebuilt in the sync script using dbms_redefinition. This will suppress all other “Alter table” commands for the table, since the redefinition process will handle those too.

Has the beta updating been changed lately? It seems like the last few betas have updated really fast compared to what it was.

Rich

Nope. Nothing has changed in the patch installer… it’s all in your head

While that’s the most likely and reasonable answer (by far!), I also have had issues with Microsoft Stync Center and offline files, which have caused a metric shton of other issues, so I’ll lump this happy outcome to that resolution as well.

Thanks!
