Will I be able to connect to a database via TOAD if my user is in a security group that has sysadmin privileges?
Quick answer is yes. Is there a reason (or concern) for asking?
The TOAD login window has a drop down to select either "normal" or one of 6 "SYS" privs including SYSDBA and SYSOPER.
