Export SQL query to Excel

Hello everyone, first post here. I just downloaded the Toad for Data Analysts today.

First off, where is the search button for this forum?

My question is, how can I export my actual SQL statement to a separate worksheet when exporting to Excel? I like having the sql statement stored right with the exported data so I can recall how I got that data at a later time.

There is a search link that will take you to a traditional search utility. See screen shot.

For including the SQL statement in your export just check the option for this. See second screen shot.

Hi Debbie. I was surprised to find that the search link is only available after clicking on an individual thread. All other forum software that I have ever used have search links on all forum pages. I do not see any search links on the forum pages here. Only the thread pages.

Thanks for the info about including the SQL. I must have looked at that dialog two or three times. I don’t know how I missed that.
