How do I know if I have a version of Toad for Data Analysis?

Hello,
I’m new to Toad and I’m learning by trial. My objective is to automate several scripts to run over night and dump the results in Excel ( or txt file ). It looks as though I would be able to do this with the version of Toad for Data Analysis.

I currently have a registered version of Toad 9.1.0.62 but I don’t see anything in the application that directs me to the Data Analysis piece.

Is this piece an addition to the application that I have, or is it hiding somewhere in the application that I’m not finding?

Any info that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Toad for Data Analysis is a different application from Toad for Oracle. It has a slightly different look and feel and is intended to be an analyst tool, not a DBA tool. With that being said, you can use Toad for Data Analysis to schedule jobs in the way you describe.

You can find Toad for Data Analysis at the Quest website ( http://www.quest.com/Toad-for-Data-Analysis ). There is a production release (1.1) and there is also a beta program if you are interested in trying out the beta release.
