can we change the logical design to physical for SQL server with the coding generator.

Hello,

I’m sorry to inform you that it is not possible at the moment.

Unfortunately, we had to completely rework the conversion feature, and haven’t managed to finish it so far. So, this task is delayed.
Nevertheless, we do work very hard on it as we’re aware that the conversion from logical to physical model is one of the most important functions for work with LER model.

Let me assure you that it will be definitely implemented in the commercial version -TDM 3.0, and if we manage to accomplish it sooner, it will be also in some Beta release.

Now, I’m afraid, we need to ask you for patience. Thank you very much.

It’s now September 2010, and I’m not finding the feature to convert logical to physical designs. I’m hunting around the menus…

Never mind. I found it in the File->Sync and Convert. Seems an odd place to have it. Should probably be an option under Model or Tools.

Hi,

To convert, select File | Sync & Convert | either Sync & Convert Wizard or Simple Model Conversion.
