I have version 3.1. Has anyone else had an issue with run away processes?
I have run a query, it does run a long time about 10 or 15 minutes, it does a count and returns the count (somwhere around 6.6 million). I look at the background processes and it seems to be done (no processes displayed). Yet my computer is very slow. I open task manager and it shows TOAD running with around 70%. I end TOAD and it asks me to stop background processes. I did submit a ticket on Quest Support, but thought I’d ask everyone here as well.
