I’ve noticed this on both MySQL and SQL Server versions of Toad: clicking once in the open space of a Database Diagram often causes a highlight box to become “sticky”, as if the mouse button had been held down. If I click again I leave an image of a dashed highlight box that doesn’t disappear until the next time the Diagram refreshes.
This is most consistently reproduced by switching away from Toad (to another application) then clicking once straight into an open space of a Database Diagram.
