Hello,
I just installed this 1.0 version unfortunately all my sybase dbase connection dissapear. Could you please let me know how I can retrive those sybase dbase connection that I created in older version ? I was fine before when I upgrade at version 0.x. Please help
The application should have asked if you wanted to migrate the beta settings and connections. If you selected “no” you can still find the connections under the beta application data directory. To find this just click on Help->About and then click on the “Application Data Directory” link. Once there go up one level and then go into the beta directory and you will find the Connections.xml file that you used for the beta. You can either copy this file to the release application data directory or use the import feature on the connection manager. Please let me know if this helps.

I used RapidSQL for years and have been looking for an alternative for quite some time. I came across this freeware release of Toad and am amazed at how many features it has. Thank you for all your hard work and time to get a product like this put together for users!!! I use your products exclusively now. Thanks!
Just as an FYI, the new 1.1 beta will be coming out soon and we plan on adding many more features. If you have some time please try it out and let us know if you have any comments or suggestions.
Absolutely! I am really looking forward to the schema compare addition. One thing I would suggest and I don’t know if this is the place to do it, is that the line feed be set to LF by default since most systems who import saved sql files use the UNIX style line feed. Just a suggestion, and a real time saver for anyone using the UNIX isql cli to import scripts.
Yes, I was able to find the problem and change the file encoding. I was just suggesting the default to be LF since I only found the CRLF line feed issue after several hours of debugging Probably should have been the first thing I checked but I didn’t. Didn’t mean to derail, just wanted to offer up a suggestion is all.
Brilliant product and well written. Thanks again for the time and hard work!
Your product seems to be good. I have many suggestions for improving it. Is there a way we can arrange a web/skype meeting so I can explain to you what I feel needs to be changed? I am seriously planning to buy Toad for Sybase but some things must be changed before I do so.
