Toad > Object Explorer > Databases > Error - String Or binary Data would be Truncated

Toad for SQL Server

I am using version 6.1. When I connect to the database, and then go > object explorer > Databases >

I received the following message

“SQL Server Database Error - String or binary data would be truncated”

As a result I can not get to see any database objects, like tables, views etc…

The native database and application seem fine.

Why would this be happening? How do I fix it?

Uninstall your SQL Server and after instal

Thanks for the suggestion. The SQL Server is running our core financials, and is running without issue, so I will not be able to take it down.

I can run queries against the database without issue…
