I have been documenting the recommended Toad settings for the members of my team. [Reason: After 13 or 14 years as a Toad user, I am retiring at the end of February.] I see that Toad Help only describes a majority of the options. Please (not for me, but for others), finish documenting the options.

The easiest way to get to the Help content for the options is to use F1 on the keyboard when you are on that Options page.
I found only two not documented (though you may have instances where you want more detail?):

·
Formatter
o
In Help, use the Search function to find “Formatter Options.”

Schema Browser | Describe Dialog
o
Search Help for “describe dialog.”
We can make these the F1 topics next release.

I don’t understand how you determined that only two were undocumented. If you go to Toad Options:Schema Browser: LHS and select F1, I don’t see the following options described:
· Show body when Package Name is Selected
· Omit SYS objects from Procedure Dependencies List
· Allow comments in grids to span multiple lines
· Only show top-level grants for Users, Roles, Sys Privs and Resource Groups tabs
· When copying column names to clipboard:

Two of the high-level options don’t have F1 currently.
Yes, you’re right, not every field/option is documented. We can add those and others as you find you need them.

Thanks to John Dorlon, here are initial descriptions for those you listed.
Show body when Package Name is Selected
·
If checked, when you click on a package name in the Schema Browser, Toad displays the package body in the RHS instead of the package spec.
Omit SYS objects from Procedure Dependencies List
·
Refers to Schema Browser Package/Proc/Function/ (and perhaps more-RHS-Deps(Uses) tab).
Allow comments in grids to span multiple lines
·
In Schema Browser Tables/Views/MViews-RHS-Columns, if you have columns being displayed in the grid, and this option is checked, multiline comments will span multiple
lines in the grid. Otherwise, only the first line is shown.
Only show top-level grants for Users, Roles, Sys Privs and Resource Groups tabs
·
When checked, Schema Browser Users-RHS-System Privs (and others) show only grants made directly to the selected user.
When not checked, if Sys privs are granted to a role, then the role is granted to the selected user, and the role will also be shown.
When copying column names to clipboard: (items separated by commas, or One item per line)
·
This refers to Schema Browser Tables-RHS-Columns tab. If you multi-select some rows in that grid, and then use the last toolbar button above the grid to column
the selected column names, the items will be copied to clipboard either one per line, or on one line separated by commas, according to this option.
