Virtual Indexes

Does the Optimizer actually use Oracle’s Virtual Indexing capabilities or are is it something specific to our Optimizer?

Hi Ben,

The “Generate Virtual Indexes” in the Tuning Lab, the “Generate Virtual Indexes” in Global Index module, and the “Virtual Index Simulation” in the Impact Analyzer all use Oracle virtual indexes.
