Where did it go? I have a professional licence. But the expert tab disappeared in 10.5

It’s been changed to send directly to the main CX window. From the release
notes:

CodeXpert

CodeXpert is undergoing improvements that will continue to develop in future
releases of Toad. One of the changes for this release includes a new workflow
for sending scripts from CodeXpert to the Editor, which improves the Editor’s
performance and is also a preparation for future CodeXpert improvements.

To use CodeXpert and the Editor together:

OK thanks. Found it. a new button on the tool bar. Reason I could not find it, it was not there. the button does not show. I reset the menu and it shows. but the next time I load toad the button is missing again.

Any idea why my button keeps disappearing?

Sounds like your desktop isn’t been preserved. You’re shutting toad
down normally?

Maybe try doing the re-set, then saving your Editor desktop by using the toolbar
button.
