The Toad for DB2 5.0.3 commercial release is a patch release that contains fixes.
You can now download the installer for that release from the quest.com
supportlink site at:

Is there anyone else having a problem installing this latest release? I have downloaded the 5.0.3 software twice and tried to install it and both times I get the error “The installation terminated prematurely.” Since it uninstalled the 5.0.2 version I was using I tried to reinstall it so I would be able to use it until I figured out the problem. Now I get that error with this version. The install fails at "Registering modules… File: ibmdadb2.dll. I have Windows XP pro SP3.

Thanks for the suggestion, Vlas. It did not help but I did some further research to see what I could find. Our initial install of Toad was v4.6 and we did it by a silent install sent out to hundreds of PCs. I have been upgrading to all the new releases and finally decided to uninstall v4.6. When I removed v4.6 it caused the silent install to again come to life on my PC tried to install 4.6 again and I cancelled it. I had the install icon still on my monitor and thought nothing of it. What that meant for me though was a Toad install had not been completely shut down and that was what was interferring with the install of the new release. Once I completed the install of 4.6 the install icon disappeared and I could install the new version of Toad. It is our problem and we are working to get the silent installs redone. Thanks again for your help.
