Access violation happens too many times during opening connection

I have this problem more then 50% of the time with the 12.5 version and the latest beta 12.6.0.40 When I’m in the login screen and selecting a connection I get very often (50% or more) an Access violation.

Today it happened after doing lots of work and opening another connection to a database, with the result of work loss. Very annoying.

What information can I give you so that this problem can be solved? It is not possible to use the error report, because of the window above it that has the focus. When I use the OK button, it is immediately replaced with the same window.

Some times the fist window is a blank window with only the error symbol and an OK button. Not very useful.

The first dialog that you see in your screenshot note the "To see what data this error report contains, click here" message. If you click that it will reveal the entire error report including the call stack. We'll need that. You can also find the error report
in the Toad.el file located in your Toad application data director. It's location is specified on the General page in options. You can send that.

Hi Michael,

It is not possible to use the click here link. There is always this other window on top of it that has the focus. And if I click it away, it is back very fast.

Finding the TOAD.EL was a little problamatic :-). I was searching for TOAD.ELF and I was not looking in the DELL directory.
