Heyas Debbie,
In my opinion it shouldn’t be possible
to create faulty automation scripts using the GUI. What i did was dragging
the “Select To File” activities manually out of the Connection
and into a parallel activity. Parallel activity shouldn’t be a possible
dragTo target for those activities that need a connection (as long as parallel
activity doesnt need a connection itself).

The Select To File activity cannot be used
without a connection as a parent. To add a Select to File to a parallel
activity, click on the sequence and then click the SeletToFile from the
toolbox. This will add both the connection and Select To File. You can
also drag both the connection and Select to File. See attached.

Heyas Debbie,
i am stressing the automation tool a bit. I can generate the below shown
script:
using the GUI. Syntaktically, everything is correct (i attached TAS/SQL
Files), but upon staring it, i get a huuuuuge Stacktrace (also attached).
