Hi,

Can we use TDM to migrate from DB2 (v8) to Oracle?

If not, are there any other Quest products that would do so?

Hello Yew Wee,

Toad Data Modeler allows you to convert the database structure. You can try the conversion from DB v8 to Oracle. Items that exist in both models will be converted. Then some manual changes will be probably necessary.

Please give it a try in Beta or trial version to see if it meets your requirements.

For fast model conversion, I recommend to use the Simple Model Conversion feature.
In TDM trial, it is available in Model menu. In current Beta, it is available in File | Sync & Convert.
