In the latest beta(.51) the caret position doesn’t preserve on Up/Down key pressed when cursor locates on the first column (a Home key was pressed to move caret to the first position).
Also Shift+Up / Shift+Down selects more than one row but I think this can related to the issue above.
This is fixed in the next beta.
