I am not sure what you are seeing.
I went into Code Templates and created a new one. I entered TEST for both the
name and description. The Advanced checkbox is unchecked. I then copied text
from the PROC template which is provided by the installation and has the
following text.
PROCEDURE | ()
IS
BEGIN
END;
I selected my TEST template and pasted the PROC template code below and clicked
OK. When I invoke either TEST or PROC in the Editor the caret is placed where
the pipe character appears in the template. What exactly are you doing and
seeing?
