Comments in Toad View sql code

Hey…

When I add block comments in the SQL code in Toad View (Edit Query), the SQL code disappears. Is this how Toad View functions? I noticed the same issue in TDP 3.3

I can’t reproduce this. This is not how it should behave. What connection type is this? Does it behave this way if you use inline coments?

Here is how the issue occurs:

  1. Write have the SQL in the editor with the comments

  2. Send the SQL with the comments to TOAD VIEW

Toad View show this as:

  1. In the Toad View side bar, Edit the Code

  2. Save the new code

After saving, this what happens:

The comments stay, but the code disappears.

Same happens with inline comments.

The connection is Oracle.

Thanks.
