Is there any way to default how data is exported to excel? I prefer my data with borders, with a certain color of header, date format, etc etc. It keeps defaulting to no borders, that awful gray header etc. Toad for oracle at least lets me include cell borders. Oh! and it launches excel after file creation - which is nice. Thanks.
P.S. I have seen the Data Report Designer, but of course that's not excel...or I can't figure out how to use the report designer to export to excel. I'm really just trying to create an excel file with formatting that I want and cell borders. It's astounding how hard it is to work around toad data point's default formating etc. This is so easy to do in toad for oracle...
I don't think there is a way to define specific excel formatting when quick exporting. Your best bet is to create a custom Table style which will let you apply with one click after exporting.
