ERD manipulate connection lines between tables

TOAD 12 / RDBMS 11GR2

when creating an ERD diagram, TOAD provides connection lines between tables that have a primary key / foreign key relationship. It appears that TOAD control the output of these lines. I would like to move the lines bewtween tables and limit TOAD from deciding where the lines should go.

Toad sort of inherits these capabilities from Toad Data Modeler (some shared code). TDM is looking for the next release to offer user managed lines and anchor
points. So I think the answer is what you ultimately want is coming soon ……
