Execute (F9) doesn't after an error and switching sessions

#1

Howdy again,

F9 doesn’t do anything in 12.1.0.22 GA when:

  1. Two Editors open in two different sessions (different DB connections)
  2. 1st session, using F9, execute a SQL where the table does not exist, but does exist in session 2
  3. Click OK on error popup
  4. Use “Change Session” button drop down to switch to session 2
  5. F9 doesn’t work.

Closing the tab and opening a new one in session 2 works. I do have threaded queries on, if that matters.

I apparently only find these things after changes to the beta are closed for the next version! [^o)]

I see this too. The table is selected after the error and changing sessions removes the selection, but the Editor didn’t get the memo. You can see in the status bar that that it still thinks there are N chars selected. Clicking in the Editor straightens it
out. I’ll put this on the list for Toad.next.

Sounds like a plan. Thanks, Michael!

Fixed in an upcoming beta. Probably our second public beta unless we do another build before releasing the first.
