Export schema or database script

Hi fellows,

We have a great option in

  • DATABASE --> EXPORT -->GENERATE DATABASE SCRIPT
  • DATABASE --> EXPORT -->GENERATE SCHEMA SCRIPT
    but I would like to schedule this task. It is possible? how ?

Many thanks.

Hello again,

In both of these windows you will see a small button in the lower left corner (status area) of the window. Just click this button to schedule…

Thank you for your response Brad.

But I cannot see the option as you described. By the way, I have the 9.5.0.31 version.

Well that explains it. You are on a very old version of Toad

There may be a way to do it in 9.5, although I can’t recall exactly what that is. Look through the various tabs in your export windows and see if there is
a button to create a parameter file. If so, the parameter file will have instructions included in it.
