Exporting Query and Results Only

Hello,

I tried searching through the deep forum conversations over the years (and noticed as I was making this post there was a live search for topics that related to this) but I just want to export the raw data from my query as a .xlsx file. Is there a simple way to do that or is Crtl+A Copy and Paste the only way?

Hello Scott,

There are several ways in which query results can be exported to Excel in Toad Data Point.

The quickest way is to use the Quick Export option from the right click context-menu:

This will export the result set to an .xlsx file in the location that is specified as the default export path in Options:

A more controlled export can be achived via the Export Wizard that is also accessible via the right-click context menu from the result grid:
