exporting table from toad

Hai All experts,

I am a fresher in oracle,please guide me how to export table from toad version8.0 to excel format.

Hi Irfan,

I assume that you wish to export data from a table in to Excel spread sheet. To do that

Navigate to Schema Browser and select the table on the LHS do a right click and you will find all the options like export dataset, copy table into another schema etc, etc

For version 8.0, I believe that it was Save As. XLS will be one of the options.

On a related note, Toad 8.0 is almost 10 years old. You should consider upgrading.

Toad 8.0 came out a year before Oracle 10g R2 – which itself has been retired by Oracle. So if you’re using Oracle 11g or 12c you really need to be on modern
version of Toad J
