Running toad for oracle v9.6.1
After setting up to view japanese character set by setting up NLS_LANG and FONT to Arial Unicode MS - Japanese, any sql execution with some syntax error results a Toad Error popup window displaying the Oracle ORA - followed by garbled error text. Temporary resolution, need reset NLS_LANG variable back to correctly view error text, but this disables japanese character set viewing.
Solution-TOAD need to retain implicit American font display on Toad Error popup window messages whenever foreign character set viewing is setup.
