How do I get toad to automatically connect at startup?

Message from: silva.rick_437

I only have one user/schema/database but when I start toad it stops me at the
login screen and requires me to click “connect”. How can I circumvent this
screen?

Scroll to the right. There is a autoconnect field. Check that off for each
connection that you want to autoconnect.

Chris

Greetings,

there is a check box in the TOAD options that states to auto connect at the
given account.
find the check box and enter your username, password and schema.

I used it on TOAD version 8 or 9 , can remember, its a long time

Regards,
Walter Cheah

Disable the ‘Show login window’ option on the Startup page in View

Options

Sorry, that’s 2 steps…missed the title.

In the connection dialog, scroll to the right and you’ll see a
‘Autoconnect’ widget – check that.

You still need to disable that option…

I tried that. It didn’t display a login window, but it didn’t connect
either!

That worked. Sweet! That checkbox was hiding out of view.

Thank you all!
