How do I remove the connection to Toad Sample Database?

If I right-click on it and select Remove, it goes away, but comes back if I restart Toad.

I’ve noticed the same behavior – I wonder if TDA needs the sample database connection – I noticed that if I create a query using multiple databases (heterogeneous query), TDA connects to the sample database.

Good detective work. Yes, TDA needs this sample database connection for cross platform query execution.
