I mistakenly clicked “include actual execution plan” and now I’m getting “Database Error: SHOWPLAN permission denied on database” every time I try to execute a query against a production database. I can;t find any way of turning that off! The DBA isn’t going to give me the access, so where do I toggle this off? I even tried adding “SET SHOWPLAN_ALL OFF” to my query
The item is a toggle button. Clicking it again will disable it.
Not on version 220.127.116.11. I click on that option, run the script, I get the error message. I cliick again, same thing. There’s no visual cue that it’s toggling anything. Now, if I shut down Toad and restart it, thankfully reverts back to off - so I guess my issue is solved.
I am having the same problem. That button isnt toggling the option. Any suggestions?
Michael’s reply is correct.
