How to login to TOAD using domain account

Yes, I thought so . However the below is not working yet for me. So I need Eric
of someone to assist me on thid issue.

I have done all this and I still cannot get it to process my Login Credentials.

I have reviews the link that you sent, but for some reason this is not working
on Wind 7-64 for me…

What it looks like from the screen shots is that rkarcher is the name of the
computer. If that’s true the only sql server you would be able to connect to
using Windows authentication would be on the same machine. If the sql server is
on another machine, (but reachable) you would need to use either some domain
credentials (from a trusted dowmain, for windows authentication) or a sql
authenticated account.

I don’t believe the runas option will allow you to connect using
sql-authenticated credentisls, it is strictly a function of windows.

where I sit.

Meaning that I have no issues with my desktop at work using the Windows
Authentication…

However I may want to connect to the same domain from a PC (laptop) that is not
part of that domain and If toad could allow this feature it would e terrific.

Now to deal with Lee’s suggestion in another email.
