I want an SQL statement to be executed for every 5 minutes

Hi,

i have an SQL query and i want that to be executed for every 5 minutes(triggering the query automatically without manual intervention) and i want the result to be stored in an excel file.Is there anyway that i can do.Atleast automating(Running jobs) SQL statement will be of great help.Replies with examples are welcome.

The schedular has an advance button that allows you to schedule an automation task to run every N minutes for a specific duration time. See attached screen shot.

Am using TOAD 8.6.1.0 version.Can you let me know where i can find scheduling task option.

You can do this in Toad for Oracle as well, I suggest you ask this question on the Toad discussion boards…
