Insert statement - getting the row count of newly created table.

Hi,
Is there a way to get a row count of the resulting table created by an insert statement (without querying the new table itself)?
I was able to get a row count using SQL Query Analyzer, and have tried to find a similar option in TOAD without success.

In TDA 2.7, if you use a Query to create a new table you will see the number of rows for that new table in the results. See the “What’s new in this release Import feature video”
