Hello Guy,
There is some help information, including a ‘User Guide Supplement’ in the:
Start > Programs > Quest Software > SQL Navigator 5.5 > On-Line Documentation directory.
There are also some tips and tricks on the ‘Inside SQL Navigator’ website:
http://sqlnavigator.inside.quest.com/kbcategory.jspa?categoryID=2&sortType=0&filterEntryTypeID=4
We don’t have a ‘hard copy’ of an up-to-date ‘User’d Guide’ available.
Please check out the above resources, and let us know if these will suite your needs.
Are there any areas in particular, that you need help / assistance with?
Thanks for your post,
and welcome to the on-line SQL Nav community!
Jaime
This link should take you directly to the search results for the Tips & Tricks videos.

I guess my biggest problem is learning to create queries for multiple tables that access the same table for different columns. Another issue is inner and outer joins, as I didn’t cover that in detail in college.
Do you have any suggestions? I have been using the SQL Modeler tool and it is helpful but for the more complex queries, I don’t know how to use it to my best interest.
Thanks for any help you offer.
Guy
Are you asking about how to write these SQL queries or how to use the SQL Modeler? If the former, I would suggest Knowledge Xpert as there is a ton of information there to help you with the queries (http://www.quest.com/knowledge_xpert/). There is a 30-day trial for each of the Oracle Knowledge Xperts that should help you get the information you need.
However, if your question is about the SQL Modeler, then I think one of the SQL Navigator developers on this forum should be able to help. If you can give us more info on the problem/scenario, we’d love to help!
I hope this helps…
Hi,
I have attached a collection of screenshots regarding the SQL Modeler that may be of interest to you.
