Open Schema Broswer after login automatically-Toad for Oracle 10.6.1.3

Hi,
When you first install toad you have many options to choose from upon first configuration. One is choosing to open a tool after logging into a DB. I accidentally skipped this step and now it always opens the editor.
I would like it to open the schema browser instead. I can’t find where in the Toad options where I would set this.

Thanks for the help!

View > Options > Windows

There you can set many windows to auto-launch (startup column) and the display
order (drop-down)

Dave,
In your Toad Options click Windows on the right navigation menu. In the
Behavior grid on the left you will need to scroll down and find Schema
Browser. Once you find it in the grid check the box under column that says
Auto Open.

I hope this is helpful.
Thank you.
Valerie

I have 10.5 and spent a lot of time looking for this.

This is available in Toad Options. (View -> Toad Options)

In the left hand pane, scroll down and select Windows.

In the grid on the right, check Auto Open next to the Schema Browser.

Next, answer the “Auto-open bring to front” as Schema Browser. It looks like only windows which are checked to Auto Open are available for this drop down.

Correct – say which windows should auto open via the column next to each
window (and you can select multiple ones) and then all those with the column
checked will be in the drop down for which one is the front one.
