I am configuring the oracle database 10g with spotlight 9.6. I am using the user wizard. I have am getting this ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level %s.
Please help to resolve this issue.
What version of Oracle - be specific. For example do you mean 10.2.0.4? I ask because there are some known Oracle bugs in prior patch levels. Second and in case you did not know, Oracle 10g R2 came off official support from Oracle last year. Yoou must purchase Oracle extended support to get access to patch downloads. So you may or may not be able to patch to the recommended minimum level of 10.2.0.4 (often referred to as the terminal release). Finally you might also look at init.ora parameter settings for shared pool size, open cursors, and about a dozen other common parms for SGA tuning - as it may simply be that you’re running Oracle out of the box with default settings which don’t work too well.
