Oracle 11gR2 generate user scripts

#1

Hi All,

today I tried to generate user scripts with toad from an oracle 11gr2 database but
the password were not generated too.

I tried the same test on oracle database 10.2 and the passwords are there for users.#

Since 11.2 it is not possible to generate scripts from users with passwords?

Best Regards,

Groete

There’s an option for users on 11g databases to include the
‘identified by’ clause if possible, do you have that checked?

#3

Hi,

where can I find this option?

Thanks,
Thorsten

Generate Database Script has an option to include passwords in 11g, if possible,
in Toad 11 – which is currently in Beta.
