Will we ever get parenthesis matching the way it was before the v12.?? rewrite of Toad? Before the rewrite, I could click anywhere between 2 parentheses and they would be bolded, allowing me to easily see the start and end of the grouping I’ve clicked into. Since the rewrite, I first have to find the correct parenthesis and click next to it to have the other end highlighted.
FWIW, I also found that feature very useful. Can you submit this to the Idea Pond, please (so you can get credit, and I wonder how many others would vote for this?)
If you are a beta user checkout the next beta (13.1.0.11 or later) which should be released within the day.
Brace matching will now work with caret located anywhere within the range. In addition, all ranges in scope to the caret position are highlighted which is a change from older versions.

I installed v.13.1.0.7 and clicked into the code below but didn’t see brace highlighting.
When I clicked next to one, they were both highlighted.
Am I on the correct version?

There’s a little bug with it in beta that will be fixed in next beta. It pertains to highlighting angle brackets used in comparison operators incorrectly as unmatched braces.
