Toad 10.6.1 is GA
Toad changes once or twice a year. The components and tools used to create toad
change even more slowly. Whereas AV programs change almost daily. So let’s say
a year ago app X used Delphi version 7 and AV said no errors. Now app X uses
Delphi 9 and AV says problem – who is at fault. You seem to suggest it has to
be app X. But are you willing to take the AV program and back out all its
changes since then and verify that it’s not the AV program that’s wrong.
I’m merely saying you’re very quick to blame the slowly changing beast and
assuming the rapidly changing beast is in the right – without really testing
backwards for it (just backwards on toad) ……
