TOAD advisor, advises that there is a mismatch between client/server - and in fact there is!
I can not get TOAD 10.5.1.3 to play nicely with: 8i client to 8i server.
What is working is 10G client to 8i server.
When I attempt to use 8i client TOAD will through errors like:
Probe Timeout
Access Violations
Just hang until I kill it
Multiple starts, restarts, reboots - no go.
Anyone else experiencing similar ?
