We currently use 3rd party software to generate Toad reports and send out Excel files daily via email.
These reports are ran using the Toad command line tool. Everything works fine, but it seems the command line tool modifies the TWF file's 'Date Modified' attribute every time it runs.
Is there an option so that this 'Date Modified' attribute is not changed? If I open a TWF file in Toad and process it completely and then close Toad, this attribute is not changed (assuming I say 'No' to save changes).
Thanks
Eric
If I had to take a guess, I'd say that the 3rd party software (e.g. which is calling Toad via Command line) is making the date mods, and not Toad. You can likely verify this with other file types or apps that are being called in a similar manner.
In any event, if it is, in fact, Toad that is changing the Mod Date, I don't know of any option within Toad (or command line flag) to prevent this. However, it's possible in your third party software to save the current mod date with a Win/DOS/Powershell command, run your workbook/s, and then set the mod date back to the saved value.
