Toad for DB2 migration

I am doing my first Toad migration from one system to the other. Both are LINUX based databases. I have done exports, created the tables, and now it is doing the imports. On every single import so far it is generating the following warning message "Warning 5/18/2010 8:24:27 AM 0:00:00.000 SQL3150N The H record in the PC/IXF file has product “DB2 02.00”, date
“20100518”, and time “081138"” Is this normal?

The messages are normal. SQL3150N is a DB2 informational message. However, Toad flagging them as warnings can be misleading.

Can you verify where you are seeing these message? I’m guessing they’re in the “Messages” page of the SQL Editor, but I wanted to be sure.

Thank you
Jeff

Yep. That is where they are.

One more question, can you verify if there are additional messages in the message window? If you are viewing the message output in the “grid” view, sometimes you will only see the first message displayed. It’s possible that the Import utility returned several messages, one of which could be a warning.

If you right-click in the result set on the Messages tab then select “Text Output”, this will display all the results from the utility in a text format.

Thanks
Jeff

Yes. The regular output from the load was included like number of rows inserted,
number of rows skipped, etc. I think the warning message was just a red herring.
Thanks Jeff.
