Toad hangs indefinitely

Toad for Oracle - Beta

All,

I just upgraded to Beta 13.0.0.28 of Toad for Oracle.

When executing a query (admittedly, a very large one) using F9
I am prompted for the variables. Then I hit enter. Nothing happens.

After some 10-15 seconds (normal response is 2-3 seconds)
I try to abort the query using the escape button.

The screen goes gray and Windows marks the process as unresponsive.
Otherwise nothing happens. For minutes :frowning:

Ultimately I had to resort to Windows to cancel the task.

I forgot to mention I checked cpu consumption after I’d hit the Escape key.
No CPU was being used.

Hi, I am getting a similar thing on 13.0.0.80 64bit
Will try raise a ticket to investigate it.
