Toad installation issue - please help!

Hello. I’m trying to set up Toad for Data Analysts for a client of mine and he keeps getting errors generated when he launches the application - errors are:

System.Exception
Tried initializing facilities before licensing was setup
Stack Trace:

at Quest.Toad.Util.FacilityFactory.GetFacilities(String facilityPath)
at Quest.Toad.Db.Provider.GetProviders()

at Quest.Toad.ConnectionManager.ConnectionHierarchy…ctor()
at Quest.Toad.ConnectionManager.ConnectionHierarchy.get_Instance()
at Quest.Toad.StartupForm.LoadAssemblies()

I’m not a Toad user, so any help would be appreciated in trying to get him up and running.

I would recommend you opening up a support case so all information can be captured and tracked appropriately.

Several basic things we would need to track include items like: what Version of Toad Data Analysts, what clients are yon that machne, what OS, what OS-bitness, any previous Toads on that machine, did they work, etc.

And again it would be more efficient to log those into a support case via:

support.quest.com
