in s SELECT… WHERE clause, whenever I type in an ‘a.’ TOAD spins for a long time. I believe it’s gathering the columns associated with the ‘a.’ referenced table to allow me to select from a list. How do I turn this off?
In options on the Editor|Code Assist tab you can uncheck “Enable Code Insight pick list” to disable it completely. When it’s gathering data you should be able
to cancel it by pressing ESC or continued typing in 12.6 and 12.7.
