TOAD Plugin API

Is there any documentation (official or community initiated) regarding plugin development for Toad for Oracle? I’d like to implement some of the missing functionalities, like PLSQL API documentation generator from inline comments (pldoc), feature branching support in TC, and so on.

So, where to start? What do you suggest?

Currently, there is no plugin API at all for Toad for Oracle - documented or undocumented.
