[toad_ss_beta] The winner of the Toad for SQL Server 5.0 Beta program contest announced!

[toad_ss_beta] The winner of the Toad for SQL Server 5.0 Beta program contest announced!

Thanks Ercan ! I really appreciate your email response.

As you can probably tell, I am a real believer in the Toad-SS product and have
tried from our mutual Beta position to take the Beta tester opportunity quite
seriously, as David Christian can attest for I have been involved with the
product as a Beta tester from early on, version 2.0. Rumor has it that somewhere
in a break room at Quest there is a dart board with my picture on it and
everyone in development and support has way too much fun Zeroing in on old
Hank. HEHE !!!

Needless to say I saw the notification from Igor last night and really did not
know how I wanted to respond, I surely appreciate it and consider it an honor to
even be considered for this award.

In 2007 I won a Quest development jacket and a Ipod Nano as a Toad-SS Beta
tester, both of which I still regularly use and enjoy. The humor at the time I
won the Nano was “What in the world is a Old Man (57) going to do with a
Nano?” Well I took every album I have along with gigs of other friends
albums and put them on my Computer. So I am constantly uploading golden Oldies
vintage 1963 forward soft and hard rock to my Nano. So to receive a new I-pod
‘Touch’ is going to be fun especially since my old home notebook
computer is hurling with all those Windows 7 updates. I have heard about some
guy in China has figured out how to take a ‘Touch’ and make it a
WiFi phone, so you just know I am definitely going to try to get that done!!!

To my friends at Quest, I really appreciate your consideration of me for this
award. I have and will continue to be a BIG supporter of Toad for SQL Server,
but you guys and gals already know that. There are some really terrific folks
who are working this product in development, support and product management.
Additionally, I believe the Beta community is exceptional for there are some
really smart folk involved with the evolution of this product at the Beta level.

To my very special friends on the Cc list above, like David Christian, Igor
Manokhin, Henrik, Matt Sprygada and Johnny Ortega (wherever you are) !!! Thank
you very much !

Your friend and servant !!
