TOAD version 12.1.1.1 Users guide/manual

I have a hopefully easy to answer question Where can I find a users manual/guide for TOAD version 12.1.1.1. I assume if the exast 12.1.1.1 is not available, the nearest version (ie 12.0.1 or 11.9) would suffice.

Also, years ago I found a small paperback with tons of useful info, like users guide on seriods. This was so long ago it was version 7 or so…useless now.

So, bottom line:

  1. users manual/guide download.

  2. books on TOAD v12.1.1. or close version, prefably a downloadable book

For request (1), you’ll need to open up a support ticket (https://support.quest.com/contact-support)

For request (2), our friends Bert Scalzo and Dan Hotka published a book entitled “Toad for Oracle Unleashed”, published a few years ago. Many of the online bookstores should have it.

The new version of Toad Unleashed is available on amazon.com here https://www.amazon.com/Toad-Oracle-Unleashed-Bert-Scalzo/dp/0134131851/ref=sr_1_1 and it was fairly recently updated to cover Toad 12.

If you need to know how good it is, just ask Phyllis or myself, we did the technical review. (I thouroughly recommend it!)

The book is good, the technical reviewing is amazing. :slight_smile:

I agree with Norm, the book is very good. If you are new to Toad, or maybe don't think you know as much about it as you would like it would be well worth the investment.
